Youth on Course is a national program for young golfers ages 6-18 of all skill levels. For a $5 annual registration fee, Youth on Course allows young golfers to play at participating courses for $5 or less. Youth on Course wants to help young golf enthusiasts follow their passion and be able to play more often by removing some of the financial obstacles that often prevent young people from playing as often as they would like. The GAM Foundation is bringing Youth on Course to Michigan this season and already, more than 50 courses have signed up and more than 400 players. We expect both of those numbers to grown throughout the season. Youth on Course is currently available in 15 states and its members are able to use their membership card to play at participating courses in any of those states.

The Golf Association of Michigan offers free memberships to all junior players. Junior players receive all of the regular GAM benefits including the ability to post scores and establish a USGA Handicap Index; access to GAM junior tournaments and events like the Father&Son / Parent & Child tournament; Michigan Links Course Directory and more! The GAM also has plenty of great contests on www.gam.org, Facebook, Twitter & Instagram where members – including juniors – can win rounds of golf, golf-related items such as bag tags and golf balls, golf books and more.

If you register for Youth on Course, you are automatically registered as a GAM member as well!
