KJGA Scholarship Fund

Each year, graduating seniors compete for one of the $1,500 KJGA scholarships that will be awarded directly to the college or university of their choice. Historically, two scholarships have been given in honor of John Block.  Beginning in 2008, two more scholarships have been added – one honoring Jim Roschek and one in memory of Heidi Krum. A fifth scholarship in memory of Ted Little was added in 2021, and increased to 3 in 2023, giving 7 total scholarships available.

Applicants must be graduating senior planning to pursue a four-year degree as a full-time student who has participated in the KJGA program, shown academic achievement (minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA), and has displayed superior character, sportsmanship, and good citizenship both on the golf course and in his or her daily life.
